When doing any type of demolition on an older home, it is always a good idea to know what type of building materials were used during the time period your home was built.
When pulling up some recently new laminate flooring I ran into these old tiles. Some of the tiles had been removed prior to me pulling up the old floors. Given the age of the house and the known building materials which were used, it is safe to say that is most likely asbestos glue.
Good thing the homeowners are not removing the floor and laying plywood overtop for some new hardwood floors.
