This Quail Hollow project was designed with layered warm lighting throughout the canopy, architecture, and landscape to create depth, atmosphere, and that perfect relaxed nighttime feel without overpowering the space.

“Beautiful Crazy” is the only way to describe this property.

Set on the water in Quail Hollow, Westlake, this is the home the entire development was built around—
a true Texas log estate that doesn’t exist anywhere else at this level.

You don’t light a property like this the same way you light everything else.
You respect it.

The mature trees were taken all the way to the top—every canopy fully carried so the property has vertical depth and presence from the moment you enter. Not just trunks… the entire structure of the trees.

The log facade was handled with restraint—
a warm, perfectly even wash from base to peak. No striping. No hotspots. No blown-out wood tones. Just a clean, consistent glow that lets the texture of the timber do the talking.

From the lake, from the drive, from every angle—
it reads the way it was always meant to.

Quiet. Strong. Unmistakable.

This isn’t landscape lighting.

Some properties just have presence — and this Preston Hollow estate is one of them.
The challenge? Making sure that presence didn’t disappear after sunset. 🌆
We designed a full outdoor lighting plan around the home’s natural assets — the towering mature trees, the classic stone exterior, and the sweeping front lawn — using strategic uplighting and custom stone columns to frame the entry and bring the whole property to life after dark.
The result? A home that’s just as breathtaking at midnight as it is at noon.
