Sam sits on the Headwaters Builders Association board. Ashly's served over a decade as HBA state director and is now Wisconsin Builders Association Associate Vice President. We show up for the trades- not just on job sites, but in the rooms where the industry gets shaped.

Our team works hard every day, and we’re grateful for the dedication, teamwork, and positive energy each person brings to our organization.
This luncheon was a wonderful opportunity to come together, enjoy some great food, share a few laughs, and most importantly
say THANK YOU to the people who make what we do possible. ❤️
We truly appreciate each and every one of our employees and all that you do! Here’s to another great quarter together! 🎉👏

Teaching beyond RVI

Sam's favorite part of the job? Talking building science with people who nerd out about it as much as he does.
That's why we share what we learn — on the blog, here on Facebook, and now through training content for On3 Learning Hub to help
tradesmen everywhere, not just our own crew.

"Blue collar building science"
We're not chasing net zero. We're not chasing passive house certifications.
We're blue collar building science-doing the best possible job with what's available at the local lumber yard. Real results, not a checklist.
That's the RVI way. Questions? Call 715-420-0177

Some of you know Sam as the guy who'll walk you through a blower door test, What you might not know: he wanted a
snowmobile at 21, bought a small insulation business to pay for it, and 26 years later that business is RVI
Full story (and a photo of the actual snowmobile — yes, he still has it) is on the blog.

If you’ve met RVI recently, it might be through a crew on a custom build somewhere in the Northwoods, or Sam Hartmann walking a builder through what a blower door test shows. What most people don’t know is how Sam got here, or what’s still driving him 26 years later. Where It Started Sam start...
