As spring arrives, it's time to start thinking about getting your sprinkler system up and running again. Here are some tips to help you with your sprinkler start-up process:

Turn on your main water valve: Make sure your main water valve is turned on before you start your sprinkler system. This will allow water to flow into your system and help you identify any leaks or other issues.

Check for leaks: Walk around your yard and check for any signs of leaks in your sprinkler system. Look for damp spots, standing water, or water spraying where it shouldn't be.

Inspect your sprinkler heads: Make sure all of your sprinkler heads are clean and free of debris. Check for any damage or wear and tear, and replace any broken heads.

Test your system: Once you've checked for leaks and inspected your sprinkler heads, it's time to test your system. Turn on each zone of your sprinkler system and check for proper water coverage.

Adjust your sprinkler heads: If you notice any areas of your yard that aren't getting enough water, you may need to adjust your sprinkler heads. This can help ensure that your entire yard gets the water it needs.
