A new era for Monumental Sports & Entertainment is here.

The Loft, MSE’s new 128,000 sf headquarters, brings previously dispersed teams together under one roof for the first time, with approximately 500 employees coming downtown each day. Designed as a best-in-class workplace, The Loft creates a new home for MSE that supports collaboration, culture, and connection while contributing to the ongoing revitalization of downtown DC.

At the heart of the workplace, a three-story skylit atrium transforms a previously enclosed center-block office into a vibrant gathering hub, connecting teams and creating a dynamic setting for daily collaboration, all-hands meetings, watch parties, and special events.

From the amphitheater and three-story LED video wall to the rooftop, strategically placed amenities, employee-centric spaces, and MSE-inspired details throughout, The Loft brings the caliber of a premier corporate workplace into an environment that feels distinctly Monumental.

It’s a workplace designed around the people, culture, and business behind MSE’s teams and venues.

We’re proud to have helped bring this vision to life.

Some projects remind us exactly why we love what we do, and West End Pediatrics was one of them.

As her practice continued to grow, Dr. Ariza partnered with us to design a new home for her pediatric office. Her brand colors—pink, blue, and orange—represent her family and were reflected in her previous space through colorful rugs. In the new office, we carried that story forward by incorporating those vibrant colors into the flooring throughout the waiting rooms, exam rooms, and vitals area.

One of our favorite design moments came from an existing structural column between what would become the Well and Sick waiting rooms. Rather than work around it, we transformed it into a whimsical tree with a dividing wall, creating a playful focal point for young patients and their families.

With built-in toy storage and a kaleidoscope dollhouse seamlessly integrated into the waiting room design, every detail was thoughtfully planned to balance fun, functionality, and a welcoming experience for every visit.

As part of our ongoing work with building leadership, the rooftop at 601 New Jersey Ave. has been reimagined as a premier outdoor amenity space with unmatched views of the U.S. Capitol and the Washington, DC skyline.

The renovation includes upgrades to the penthouse interior and exterior, FF&E, and landscape planters, while introducing accent lighting, a pergola, and canopies for shade and comfort. This enhancement is one of several projects completed as part of our continued work on tenant improvements, amenity upgrades, and property enhancements throughout the building. Designed to support collaboration, events, and informal gatherings, the improved rooftop provides tenants with a unique and memorable destination while further enhancing the property's appeal and value.

The recently completed addition at The Nysmith School in Herndon expands the campus with new learning and collaboration environments designed to support both students and educators for years to come.

The two-story addition was designed to complement the existing campus architecture while introducing new classrooms, offices, teacher support spaces, and an outdoor patio extension connected to the art classroom.

Thoughtful planning and coordination addressed the challenges of working within an occupied campus environment while enhancing opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and day-to-day learning experiences.

Our most recent Mellow Mushroom marks our 16th Mellow build and second in the Raleigh-Durham NC region for the same franchisee. This new Holly Springs location, encompassing both base building and interior design, reimagines the brand’s signature 70s aesthetic through a blend of modern and retro, layering nostalgic colors, forms, and materials into one unique space.

By bridging decades of design, the restaurant space invites moments of recollection while staying true to Mellow’s ubiquity, franchisee functionality, and maintenance needs. A fresh take on a familiar experience, rooted in both memory and momentum.
