Another beautiful walkway/patio in the books for one of the best customers we’ve had.
Bobs main concerns for this project were two things; his old flagstone started to become tripping hazards for his guests & he wanted from the driveway to the front door to be wheelchair accessible.
He originally had a wheelchair ramp that extended out about 5 feet with a 6” increase in slope, that’s a 10% slope. He told me “Jacob I trust you on however you decide to do it, I know it’ll look great”
Bob comes home from errands one day to his pavers laid, I meet him in the driveway and he asked “how’s the ramp look?” I smiled back and said “what ramp?”
Bobs “ramp” is now 13” tall over the course of 47’, which equates to a 2.3% grade change from his driveway to his front door.
He was astonished at how well the colors contrasted like we discussed, how unnoticeable the “ramp” was, and how smooth the transitions were from the driveway to pavers, then from the pavers to the porch.
Bob gave me a hug and teared up a little, it was an emotional moment for him….
Bob and our guys have built that relationship that will last a lifetime. Bob is a customer, but more importantly a friend.
Jobs come and go, profits are made and lost, but to us at Rayscapes, leading our work as a Christian based company, means sometimes we get paid in ways that aren’t monetary profits. We are not in business to solely make money.
Our branding, who we are as a company, the lessons we learn, blessings that come and go, the morals and the book that we stand behind is why Rayscapes is growing so rapidly.
Bob trusted us, Bob chose us as his go to company, Bob took a chance on us….. be like Bob. 🗓️✅
