PermaDry Waterproofing and Drainage's Service Department is looking for a candidate for our Mobile Drainage Maintenance Service Tech. Pay: $20-$35hr DOE PLUS commission.

The Drainage Service Technician role is like its own little business. We are looking for someone to take OWNERSHIP. The perfect person for this role is someone we (the office) rarely YOU determine your schedule. You can start early and get off early. This is a perfect role for someone who just wants to do their own thing with little interaction from the company.
What do you do perform this job?
1. Drive to customer site and service sump pump and or drainage system (will train on the job)
2. Look for other sales opportunities (will train on the job)
3. Inject cracks (will train on the job)
4. Speak with the customer, provide paperwork and receive payments.
Perma Dry Waterproofing and Drainage is looking for someone who enjoys working with our clients and fixing problems. With 4-6 visits a day, your day is never the same and there is lots of drive time. Besides our competitive wages, there are many sales commission opportunities available with this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive to customers’ homes for pre-scheduled appointments in company vehicle to perform annual maintenance or follow-up on potential warranties. Build rapport and demonstrate expertise in waterproofing and foundation repair systems. Examine work done by Perma Dry Waterproofing and Drainage and diagnose potential problem(s) and if customer’s needs and/or desired outcome(s) have changed. All the while looking for sales opportunities not just in drainage, but within the construction field. Sells products and/or services based on recommendations for additional products and services to enhance or improve original Perma Dry Waterproofing and Drainage system installation, or to correct installation problems.
Write job proposals that include diagram(s), photographs, instructions, and materials\needed, inventory lists and the total price of the job. Turns job data and any proposals into company premises within 24-48 hours of each job. Installs products as requested. Follows job specifications to ensure installations are completed to meet company standards. Communicates job completion and/or complications to the Service Coordinator. Follows up by phone and revisits the customer as necessary. Follows through with customers until all issues are resolved.
While you are servicing pumps and drains, keeping your eyes out for cracks in foundations.
Requirements/Skills
Read and comprehend basic blueprints, machine, and process drawings.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred.
Knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction theories and practices preferred.
Skill in operating equipment and/or power tools preferred.
Skill in reading, writing (legibly), and oral communication.
Ability to learn and understand the technicality of foundation systems.
Ability to draw to scale.
Ability to make customer’s needs and desired outcomes very clear by being precise and thorough.
Able to perform work in enclosed space (basements and crawlspace)
