Be prepared just in case! Charge any jump/charge boxes. Be sure to have batteries in your flashlights in case of power outages. As always if you need some machinery to clear any limbs or busted trees call Hunts Property Maintenance LLC. (989)309-0230.

If you are out Monday evening and vulnerable to large trees or limbs falling, pay extra close attention and have a plan to move to a sturdy shelter. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms developing Monday afternoon in the U.P. and Wisconsin will cross into Lower Michigan late Monday evening. Some thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds and isolated large hail.

Another great weekend in the books!

I was blessed with the opportunity to complete another project that included yard cleanup, grading and leveling, and relocating several large white pine logs with the backhoe.
Thank you to my customers for trusting Hunt’s Property Maintenance
LLC with your projects. Every job is another opportunity to learn, improve, and take pride in doing quality work.

A chance this system may get messy. Be safe, watch local news, have alerts on incase this system turns more intense. Charge up your phones and portable battery packs just incase. Lastly, if you have any large stumps or big limbs in need of being moved after this system, and are in the general Barryton area, feel free to reach out on this business page, or calling me personally at (989) 309 0230.

Here is our official timing map for tonight's squall line, set to impact the Lower Peninsula, June 11th, 2026, capable of damaging winds, and isolated instances of hail and embedded tornadoes.

We continue to monitor the area off to our southwest as a squall line continues to develop in Iowa and Illinois, moving northeast. Our margin of error on the squall line timing is 90 minutes, but we are going with before 9:30 pm EDT for our western-most counties, then 9-10 pm into the Grand Rapids, Cadillac, and Kalamazoo corridor. 10-11 pm EDT for Coldwater, to Lansing, to Grayling, and Cheboygan, 11 pm to 12 am EDT over to Jackson, Saginaw, and Alpena, then after midnight (if it can stay together) for the thumb and southeastern Michigan.

A friendly reminder to memorize where you are on a map prior to tonight's severe weather coverage. We cannot answer hundreds of questions about specific locations while tracking storms live.

Additional pop-up storms are possible ahead of the main line, and a wake low may be possible for southwestern Michigan prior to 9 pm EDT. We are monitoring closely, but our main concern remains the stuff back further to the west. As always, tune into our live severe weather coverage as soon as the first warning is issued tonight. You can find our coverage on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch TV, X, and TikTok at "mistormchasers".
