You'd be surprised at what we find on some jobs!
If there’s one thing we’ve learned working on septic systems, it’s that people can flush just about anything and call it plumbing optimism.
We’ve pulled out things that clearly never belonged in a tank, like toys that mysteriously “fell in,” wipes that swear they’re flushable (they’re not), and the occasional item that makes everyone on the job pause and say, “Well… that’s a first.” Every tank tells a story, and some of them read like a garage sale went terribly wrong underground. But we handle it all with a straight face, good equipment, and just enough humor to keep from overthinking how a tennis ball, a sock, and what might be a spoon ended up together in the same place. At the end of the day, we just remind folks: the septic system is not a trash can… even if it sometimes looks like one after a long week.
