This style of drain is becoming very popular with modern bathrooms today.

And in this particular design we decided to hide it underneath the floating bench so that the shower did not have blocky lines visible. As a result, this shower looks extremely sleek and clean.

We often get asked about the realistic timeframe it will take for various builds. So here is our break down of this particular custom deck.

It is a 1,000 sq ft deck on the Eastside of Seattle runs 6-8 weeks and around $250,000 — here's why.

Higgason Homes breaks down every phase of this deck build: excavation to solid bearing soil, formed and poured concrete, stone box framing, structural framing with joists at 12-inch centers to handle snow load, PVC decking, and custom fabricated handrails.

The framing alone takes seven to ten days. The concrete and stonework take two to three weeks. Most of the schedule is sequencing — each trade waits on the one before it.

PVC decking was specified here for weather resistance. The handrails are fabricated off-site, coated, and installed in a final two-day push.

Shannon Higgason took to the streets of Nashville to ask the people if they could guess what the cost was.

This full kitchen remodel was done from the floor to the ceiling. Retro tiling, custom wood cabinets and even a fully custom wooden door for the fridge so that it didn't clash with the kitchen design.

The custom range hood was $10,000 alone! Because this was hand plastered and designed to fit the unique visual design of this kitchen.

Higgason Homes built this kitchen around true hickory cabinetry with a stain finish, including a refrigerator concealed behind a matching wood panel. The design is the client's — a deliberate nod to mid-century style flooring that the crew had opinions about, but craftsmanship means building what was asked for, not what's trending.

Total project came in around $250K, covering cabinetry, flooring, and appliances. That number reflects what full design-build kitchen work actually costs on the Eastside.

This 1,200 sq ft two-story addition in Redmon, Washington was a big job, but worth it!

With two bedrooms, bath, living, dining, office, shop, and laundry, it came in at $___ , ___.

Higgason Homes built this home addition to match the existing structure from the roofline down. That meant replicating the gable pitch, continuing the board and batten siding, and carrying the party panel facade across the new section.

The result reads as original construction from the street — not an add-on.

25 feet out, 25 feet wide, two full stories. Every exterior detail tied back to what was already there.

Higgason Homes built this kitchen as a full design-build project. The emerald green (or Hunt Club Green) is becoming a very popular color choice in homes now, especially when coupled with gold fixtures. This kitchen also sported a centerpiece that is 14-foot island finished in a deep green, with stainless steel appliances running around $50,000 on their own.

The layout includes a dedicated coffee bar and custom cabinetry throughout. Every decision — material, dimension, placement — was made to handle real use and hold up over time.

And the final price? $150,000.

Higgason Homes built this kitchen around one rule: make the entire vision cohesive.

The design runs mid-century rustic — natural wood cabinetry, dark stone counters, butcher block, a plaster range hood, and a marble-look checkerboard tile floor. Every material choice pulls in the same direction.

The refrigerator was the problem. A standard appliance would have broken the whole thing. The old garage door opening got framed into a nook, the fridge went into the wall, and panel-ready cabinet fronts brought it flush with the surrounding cabinetry. It reads as storage, not an appliance.

This 14 foot long, quartz island anchors this forest green kitchen remodel on the Eastside.

Our client drew their inspiration for this color scheme and design by following the direction from the Pacific Northwest itself — Puget Sound, the tree line,

Higgason Homes built the cabinetry to match that vision: deep forest green on the lowers, scaled to an island long enough to seat a crowd.

Quartz was the right call for a surface this size. It holds up to daily use without the staining risk of marble, and the veining reads just as well at this scale.
