Question: are driveway pavers actually able to sustain the weight of a car, let alone multiple cars for any period of time? The answer is actually yes, and they're even more durable than concrete.
Fun fact time! Using pavers no larger than 12"x12," the distribution of weight across the pavers becomes such that no single paver is ever sustaining the full weight of a car on its own; and, because the interlocking paver system was designed to be slightly flexible with movement and shift with the earth without disrupting the paver system, interlocking paver driveways are significantly less likely to crack, as opposed to concrete driveways that typically begin to develop cracks after a few years.
