The final cleaning is a critical part of finishing well. While we wait on a few remaining doors and finish items to arrive, our client needed to move in. We received temporary occupancy approval from the city and began the process of cleaning the exposed trusses, removing all the construction dust, and cleaning the glass before the movers started placing furniture.

THE SOBER LIVING HOUSE @ Gold St. We are thrilled to be a part of such an important project. A special thanks to Meeks, Birdseye Electric, M5 Excavating, LL Flooring, Phil Carpenter’s HVAC, and many others who are discounting or providing supplies for this cause.

Sober living is a program for individuals who have graduated the addiction recovery program at the Good News Rescue Mission. They remain in community, pay a subsidized rent amount, work, and save money for their eventual independence and continued healthy lifestyle.

We will show progress videos and pics along the way.

The Good News Rescue Mission has begun work on new sober living homes in Redding.

The Garage: A house for our cars and things. Without it some would find it challenging to even locate their vehicles in the morning after the mid-night snow snowstorm. Others would have to find alternative places for their shovels, rakes, Christmas decorations, and extension cords. The garage is always there for you. It offers therapy when you need to clean it every three months, and casually induces trauma when you look at it in between the cleans.

Emmaus completed this custom garage for a friend in the beautiful McCloud, CA. Grade A cedar board and batten siding to match the existing home and a truss package able to carry a mother load of snow. It’s now ready for winter.

Waterfall Edge: Does it take two slabs instead of one? Yes. Is it more labor? Yes. Is it worth it? We sure think so. Building a waterfall edge on a kitchen island can make an incredible statement in your kitchen, not to mention offering a clean finished edge around the cabinetry.

Form and function is perfect harmony: The Modern Kitchen. built this kitchen for in 2022. We love the lengthy cabinet banks, floating shelves, and of course, the beverage station. It’s well lit and ready to host large parties or small—our kind of kitchen.

A good kitchen is found when form and function are harmoniously working together to serve its users. It’s a place where we gather, cook, and eat. It should be both beautiful and efficient.

We love the kitchens we build at Shiloh Park in Redding, CA for just that reason.

A luxury apartment bathroom? Yes please! This one comes with a curb-less shower pan offering a seamless transition from floor to shower, three walls of tile floor to ceiling, and euro-style, semi-custom cabinets. Soooo nice 😍
