🐾❤️ A PAW-SOME DONATION FOR OUR FOUR-LEGGED FAMILY MEMBERS! ❤️🐾

Tonight, we were honored to receive an incredible donation from Invisible Fence of Pittsburgh through their Project Breathe program — providing our department with 3 pet oxygen masks! 🐶🐱🚒

In an emergency, our pets are more than just animals; they are family. Smoke inhalation can be just as life-threatening to our four-legged family members as it is to us. These specialized pet oxygen masks will help equip our firefighters with the tools needed to provide oxygen to pets suffering from smoke inhalation during a fire or other emergency.

We are excited to build on this donation by training our members in pet CPR this Thursday! This training, along with having these oxygen masks available, will help prepare our firefighters to better assist pets in need during emergencies.

This generous donation and training make a real difference in our community by giving us additional tools and skills to protect the people and pets we serve. While we always hope we never have to use them, being prepared could mean the difference between life and death for a beloved family pet.
