We're honored to be recognized in the 2026 edition of Ingram's 100, earning the #83 spot among the top private companies in the Kansas City region.

As an employee owned company, being featured on a list like Ingram's 100 isn't the accomplishment of one department or a handful of leaders, it's the collective effort of every person across ECA. From the field to the office, every employee has a stake in our success. Achievements like this are the result of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire team.

Is it just us, or is anyone else already daydreaming about the weekend? ☀️⛳

It's hard not to after this last one! We're still smiling about Saturday's ECA Employee Golf Tournament at Shamrock Hills Golf Course. Family, friends, and colleagues came together for a beautiful day filled with laughter, great company, and plenty of memorable moments.

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting our Customer Appreciation Golf Tournament at the beautiful Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate, and what an incredible day it was!

A huge thank you to our gold sponsors Wesco and Van Meter, our vendor partners Phase 2 and Kansas City Cigar Company who helped create an elevated experience for our customers and guests, our amazing team who spent months planning and executing every detail, and of course, the legendary wives who brought the energy and entertainment to the infamous Heckle Hole.

Most importantly, thank you to all of our customers and guests who joined us in support of Answering the Call and the important work they do for first responders and their families.

Last Friday, we had the privilege of celebrating the retirement of Matt Butkovich after an incredible 35 years of service with ECA.

As a General Foreman, Matt has been a respected leader in the field, known for his dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence. Throughout his career, he helped lead countless projects, mentored fellow team members, and played an important role in shaping the culture and success of our organization.

While we will certainly miss seeing Matt on our jobsites, we are grateful for the lasting impact he has made on ECA and the many people who have had the opportunity to work alongside him over the years.

Thank you, Matt, for 35 years of outstanding service, leadership, and commitment. Congratulations on a well-earned retirement, and best wishes as you begin this exciting new chapter!
