Veteran Tree Care is growing and looking to add the right people to our team. We are a professional, safety-focused tree company seeking both experienced arborists and motivated ground crew members who want to build a long-term career in the industry.
POSITION 1: Experienced Arborist / Crew Leader
We’re looking for a skilled, reliable professional who can take the lead on jobs and deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
* Proven experience with climbing and aerial tree work
* Bucket truck operation
* Advanced rigging techniques
* Crane-assisted removals
* Ability to lead and manage a crew
* Strong knowledge of safety standards
* Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
* Maine Arborist license
Responsibilities:
* Lead daily job operations from start to finish
* Perform technical removals and pruning safely
* Communicate professionally with customers on-site
* Train and mentor crew members
* Ensure efficiency, safety, and quality on every job

POSITION 2: Ground Crew (Growth Opportunity)
We’re hiring hardworking, motivated individuals who want more than just a job — this is a career path.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Ability to work in all weather conditions
* Positive attitude and team mindset
* No experience required (tree experience is a plus)
Responsibilities:
* Assist climbers and crew leaders on job sites
* Operate chainsaws, chippers, and equipment (training provided)
* Learn rigging, safety procedures, and tree care techniques
* Help maintain a clean, efficient job site
