✔️ Raise your mower height to 3.5–4 inches. Taller grass shades the soil and helps retain moisture.
✔️ Water deeply in the early morning (between 5–9 AM) instead of a little every day. Aim for about 1 inch of water per week.
✔️ Avoid mowing during the hottest part of the day. Early morning or evening is best to reduce stress on your lawn.
✔️ Don’t worry if your lawn slows its growth or turns slightly brown during extreme heat—it’s often a natural way for grass to conserve energy.
