Every Great Project Starts with a Good Investigation. 🕵

Not all mysteries belong in a haunted house. 👻

Our first questions look like this:

🏫 What is the client really trying to achieve?

💯 What challenges could impact the site's future performance?

🔍 How can we design for flexibility, sustainability, and long-term success?

The best solutions don't happen by accident.

They happen when architects, engineers, and designers ask the right questions before the first line is drawn.

Luckily, solving complex problems is one mystery our team enjoys tackling.

What Makes FourFront a Great Place to Work?

For Rodney Wilson, it's the fact that no two days are ever the same. As a Mechanical CAD Technician, Rodney enjoys the variety of challenges each project brings, from developing detailed designs and coordinating with project teams to helping transform concepts into functional solutions. The diversity of projects keeps his work engaging and provides continuous opportunities to learn, adapt, and grow professionally.

Rodney appreciates being part of a collaborative team where knowledge is shared freely, challenges are tackled together, and everyone's contributions are valued. He enjoys working alongside professionals from multiple disciplines, knowing that each project benefits from the collective expertise and teamwork that define FourFront's culture.

We're grateful for Rodney's dedication, technical expertise, and positive attitude. Team members like Rodney help make FourFront a workplace where collaboration, innovation, and professional growth are part of the everyday experience.

October Team Challenge

Some fears never go away.

Not deadlines. Not budgets. Not even client revisions.

We're talking about the truly frightening stuff:

🎃 Presenting with no slides.

👻 Opening a drawing file where every object lives on Layer 0.

This October, we're curious:

Which nightmare would you rather face?

Our hearts go out to Deputy Frank of the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s office in Sioux Falls, SD, who lost her life in the line of duty today.

Passing of Deputy Katherine Frank -

The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office announces with profound sadness the passing of Deputy Katherine Frank, age 26, earlier today. Deputy Frank was surrounded by her family and loved ones in her final moments. In her final act of service and generosity, she became an organ donor, continuing to help others even in her passing. Katherine worked at the South Dakota State Penitentiary from September 2022 until being hired with the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office in June 2024.

Deputy Frank’s death is a significant loss to our agency and to the broader law enforcement community in and around Sioux Falls. She served the citizens of Minnehaha County with professionalism, humility, and dedication. Her absence will be felt deeply by all who have had the privilege of working alongside her.

A memorial has been established at the Law Enforcement Center located at 320 W. 4th St., Sioux Falls, SD, for those who wish to pay their respects. The Sheriff’s Office will also continue maintaining a presence at the hospital as we support her family during this difficult time.
Further information regarding funeral services, honors, and departmental arrangements will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

Deputy Frank served with dignity and heart. Her service made a meaningful difference, and her impact will remain with us always.

Today, we recognize and honor the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Indigenous peoples.

As designers, planners, engineers, and problem-solvers, we understand that every project begins with a place, and every place carries a story. Indigenous communities have stewarded these lands for generations, offering valuable lessons in sustainability, resilience, and connection to the environment.

On National Indigenous People Day, we celebrate the traditions, knowledge, and voices that continue to shape our communities and inspire future generations.
