P.s.a. on smoke detectors and smoke / carbon monoxide detectors.
How to tell when they expire.
Where to find the manufacturer date .
Recommend replacement is 1 combination carbon monoxide / smoke detector with photo electric sensor with voice not ionization sensing 115 volt hardwired with 10 year lithium battery on each level of your home.
Pending on the year built or upgradeds you may have smoke detectors in each bedroom and living area top / bottom of stairs .
Once you satisfied the 1 combination smoke / Carbon monoxide detector on each level of your house the other detectors can be only smoke detectors in living areas for the most part. Those smoke detectors should be hard wired 115v with battery backup photo electric sensor NOT ionization.
I strongly recommend 115 volt with backup lithium battery sealed unit . No need to replace batteries ever , they are usually a 10 year device.
Smoke detectors should be replaced every 10 years / combination smoke and carbon monoxide every 7 years or per manufacturer specifications.

Remember this
A smoke detector needs to be in working order to protect you your family and property .

Alert Alert to my Randolph, Braintree , Holbrook residents reguarding there appliances.
I have had sevral calls reguarding water leaking into appliances with the appliances off. Icemakers , washing machines , dishwashers.
If you are experiencing Low water pressure 20 psi or under there is a possibility water can leak past the water valve on newer appliances.
