We're excited to welcome Kylie Warner to for her second summer as an intern within our organization! Kylie is a Structural Engineering student at UC San Diego who spent her first internship with Underground Construction's Electric Civil team. This summer, she's expanding her experience with PAR West Estimating, learning how bids come together and how estimating connects to the work our project teams and crews perform in the field.

Kylie chose to return for a second internship because of the culture, the people, and the investment she felt in her professional development during her time with UCCo. We're excited to have her at PAR West this summer and to give her the opportunity to experience another side of the business as she continues building her future in construction!

We're excited to welcome Jhasua Vasquez back to this summer, where he's supporting our Electric Transmission team.

A Cal Poly Pomona student studying Civil Engineering, Jhasua returned for a second internship after a great experience with our Gas Transmission division last summer. This year, he wanted to broaden his knowledge by exploring another area of the business and continue building his experience in the construction industry.

During his internship, Jhasua is gaining hands-on exposure to substation construction, learning more about project management, and developing a deeper understanding of how construction plans are brought to life in the field. He's also seeing firsthand how collaboration and attention to detail contribute to successful project ex*****on.

We're proud to have Jhasua back on the team and look forward to supporting his continued growth throughout the internship program.

We're excited to welcome Travis Ridgway to this summer, where he's supporting our Environmental team.
A University of Colorado Boulder student studying Environmental Studies, Travis has always had an appreciation for the environment and was looking for an opportunity to explore how his interests could translate into a career. When he learned about PAR West's Environmental division, he saw the chance to gain real-world experience while helping support critical infrastructure projects.
During his internship, Travis is gaining hands-on experience in the field, learning how environmental work supports construction operations, and seeing firsthand how teams collaborate to accomplish a common goal.
We're proud to have Travis on the team and look forward to supporting his growth throughout the internship program.

Westminster Substation Progress
PAR West's Substation Group successfully completed the installation of a new 230kV transformer at the Westminster Substation.
The size of the crane required for the lift highlights the scale of equipment and planning involved in substation construction.

Construction Safety Week may be wrapping up, but the message carries into every job, every crew, and every decision made in the field.
Going home safe doesn’t just happen. It comes from crews that slow down, recognize hazards, respond the right way, respect the plan, and stay committed to protecting each other every step of the day.
