Turned an unused backyard into the room this Carmichael family actually lives in. Skylights, sliding glass walls, and a built-in bar — sun room done right. ☀️🏡

If you want a version with a stronger CTA baked in (for a Meta ad rather than an organic post caption), here’s that too:

Still staring at four walls instead of your backyard? This Carmichael sun room addition brings in the light, the view, and the space — without the price tag of a full home addition. Get your free quote today. 📲

This Carmichael family wanted one thing: a backyard they could actually use, all year long. 🏡
Their barbecue island now lives under a fully custom sunroom — 5 skylights bringing in natural light, adjustable blinds for total control, dual AC/heating so it’s comfortable in July and January, and 80” windows that frame the whole backyard view.
Built for holidays. Built for game days. Built for the family to actually gather in.
This is what happens when a space gets designed around how you actually want to live in it.

Take a look at this finished project out in Carmichael! 🏡
This homeowner came to us wanting more living space — specifically, they wanted their barbecue island area covered and usable no matter the season. Here's what we’built them:
✅ 5 glass skylights (2'x4') for ’at’ral light overhead
✅ Adjustable blinds so they control exactly how much light comes in
✅ Dual AC/heating system for year-round comfort
✅ A built-in TV area for game days and gatherings
✅ 80" tall win”ows framing the full backyard view
This space is now where their family gathers for holidays, sports, and everyday hangouts — rain or shine, hot or cold.
If you've got a ’ackyard or patio that's not bei’g used the way it could be, give us a call. We'd love to’talk about what's possibl’ for your space.
Good candidate to boost — strong finished-space visuals and a clear "you could“have this too” appeal for the Facebook audience.

A lot of people ask us the same question: “Do I need a patio cover, a screen room, or a full sunroom?”

Here’s the easy way to think about it.

A patio cover is just a roof. No walls, no screens. It blocks sun and rain, but you still feel the outside air. This is the affordable option, and it’s a great fit if you mostly want shade for BBQs, hangouts or just overall enjoyment of your yard.

A screen room adds screens around that roof. You get the same open, outdoor feel, but bugs, mosquitos, and blowing leaves stay out. It costs a bit more than a patio cover, but a lot of homeowners tell us this is the sweet spot — still outside, still fresh air, just without the bugs ruining it.

A sunroom is the next step up. It has real walls and windows, so it’s fully closed in. You can use it in the cold, the heat, or the rain, almost like adding another room to your house. It costs the most of the three, but it’s also the one you can use 365 days a year, not just when the weather cooperates.

So which one is right for you? Ask yourself one question: how many months a year do you want to actually use this space?

If you only need it a few nice months out of the year, a patio cover or screen room will save you money and still get the job done.

If you want a space you can use year-round, no matter the weather, a sunroom is worth the extra cost.

We’ve built all three types right here in the Greater Sacramento area, and every project in these photos is a real job we completed.

Comment “WHICH ONE” below and tell us how you’d use the space — we’ll tell you exactly which option fits best.

Another one done right here in Folsom! This homeowner had just finished remodeling their backyard — and wanted a covered patio that could actually keep up with it. So we built a 400 sq ft patio cover with two fans, recessed lighting, outlets, and heaters, so this space works for morning coffee, summer evenings, and everything in between, no matter the season.

That's the goal with every build: not just shade, but a space your family will actually use, year-round.
