Ultima Pool and Spa Services will be accepting resumes starting October 1st and ending October 15th. There is one full time position available. After October 15th interviews will be conducted.
Starting pay is $22 per hour.
Candidate with no pool industry experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate:
Must have a clean driving record
Must submit to and pass a background check
Must submit to and pass a drug test
Must adhere to grooming standards
Must have a high mechanical aptitude
Must possess basic math and chemistry skills
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to lift 100 lbs unassisted
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
This job posting is for anyone who is interested in becoming a tradesperson. You will ride along and work with the owner who is a licensed pool and spa contractor. During the training provided by the owner you will be expected to learn all necessary skills required to act in the capacity of a journeyman level employee.
Required skills to work at Journeyman level include:
Knowledge of basic hand and power tool use
Knowledge of pool cleaning equipment use
Expertise of pool and spa chemistry
Knowledge of pool and spa hydraulics
Installation of pool and spa equipment plumbing - both water and gas
Installation of pool and spa equipment electrical - both low and high voltage
Ability to perform pool and spa equipment diagnostics & repair - including but not limited to; pumps, filters, heaters, salt cells, automation, mechanical timers
Ability to perform pool chemical washing
Installation and repair of pool thermal solar panels
Installation of pool mastic
Installation of vinyl pool liner
Upon completion of training there will be a pay increase to $25 per hour. A work truck, fuel card, all necessary equipment, tools and uniforms will be provided by Ultima.
