🌡️ HEAT SAFETY FACTS FOR THE WEEK
Temps are climbing in The Triangle of NC this week, and so is the risk. Here’s what you need to know and how to keep yourself, patrons and fellow workers # safe:

1. Heat exhaustion is your warning sign.
It can show up as heavy sweating, dizziness, nausea, and muscle cramps. If you feel it—get out of the heat, hydrate, and cool down immediately.

2. Heat stroke is a medical emergency.
It happens when your body temp hits 104°F+.
Signs: confusion, no sweat, rapid pulse, fainting.
Call 911 immediately!

3. Hydration is your #1 defense.
Sip water all day—even if you’re not thirsty. Once you’re dehydrated, it’s already too late.

4. Know the difference.
👉Exhaustion = tired, sweaty, responsive
👉Stroke = hot, dry, confused, unresponsive
If you’re not sure—treat it like an emergency.

REMEMBER:
💧Take shade breaks
💧 Drink water regularly
💧Watch your patrons and team
💧Know your body

Libby leads with hospitality in every interaction she has on deck — and it shows! She loves connecting with club members (especially the kiddos) and brings sunshine wherever she goes. ☀️

She looks up to Jakson and Ella Paige on North Hills Country Club pool deck for their kindness and quick thinking, and her favorite part of summer? Soaking up the sun with friends and family. 🏖️
