This chimney had more going on than met the eye.

What started as failing caulk and aging trim allowed water to slowly work its way behind the siding over time. Once we removed the damaged materials, we found rotten wood that needed to be replaced before it caused even bigger problems.

The good news? Repairs like this are often much less expensive when they’re caught early.

🚩 Keep an eye out for these warning signs:
✔️ Cracked, peeling, or missing caulk
✔️ Gaps around siding or trim
✔️ Soft or rotting wood
✔️ Peeling paint or signs of moisture

This flooring project started with removing the old floor, but once we got underneath, we found rotten subfloor that needed attention. Instead of covering it up, we replaced the damaged subfloor and installed beautiful new flooring, giving this home a strong foundation and a fresh new look.
