❌ MYTH. Mosquitoes can breed in tiny amounts of standing water—even a bottlecap’s worth. Check your yard for plant saucers, buckets, tarps, toys, bird baths, clogged gutters, and low spots that hold water. Dump it out and you can prevent a whole new wave of mosquitoes in just a few days.

🐭 Noticed grease/smudge marks on pipes in your crawlspace?

That can be a sign of mice (or rats) traveling the same route over and over. As they squeeze along pipes and beams, the oils and dirt in their fur leave behind dark, greasy “rub marks”—basically a rodent highway.

If you’re seeing rub marks, also look for:
✅ Droppings nearby
✅ Chewed insulation or wiring
✅ Scratching noises at night
✅ Gaps around pipe penetrations

Bald-faced hornets are no joke. 🐝⚫️⚪️

These large black-and-white “hornets” are actually a type of aerial yellowjacket, and they’re known for being highly defensive if you get too close to the nest. Their paper nests are often built high in trees, but we also see them on eaves, sheds, and along rooflines.

Signs you may have an active nest nearby:
✅ Lots of hornets flying in and out of one area
✅ You notice them hovering around the same tree/roofline daily
✅ A gray, football-shaped paper nest (often partially hidden)

If you suspect bald-faced hornets on your property, don’t try to handle it yourself—give us a call and we’ll take care of it safely.
