We absolutely love how this full exterior renovation project came out. This home in Knightdale, NC, was such a treat and a change from those taller homes. Keenith was such a great client to work for.

With him being an ex-contractor and home builder, he understood and appreciated the process and expertise. Outside of being relatable, new doors, trim, handrails, and exterior paint make the house look new.

We are certainly enjoying working outside in this beautiful fall weather.

Thanks to Kimberly for hiring us again, this time to paint the inside of her previous home on Trego Trail in Raleigh NC, which is now for sale. We have done a lot of work on this home. So, it was bittersweet to get things refreshed to put it on the market. But we're sure glad to have been a part of both the interior and exterior transformations over the years.

The contrast between dark siding and light trim is so timeless. Our paint team completed this full exterior house painting project with its usual attention to detail.

We applied two coats of Latitude satin on all siding and Duration on all trim. There were only a few small replacements on the siding and trim.

The project was a referral from a previous client on Basil Drive in Raleigh, NC. It is always nice to receive referrals from satisfied customers.

The homeowner decided to remove all the shutters. Now the front of the house looks clean and open, without the cluster of shutters taking up too much space.

Wanted to thank David, who lives near Raven Ridge in Raleigh, NC, for allowing us to paint his home. We stained the rear porch floor, repaired the corner boards and siding, and applied a soft wash before painting. Not in that order, of course.

The exterior coating includes SW Latitude on the siding and Duration Exterior for the trim. The front door was painted in Red Bay using a real red base paint to retain its color longer.

What a busy few weeks. We finally have a chance to post a few large projects that we completed this month.

This is an exterior renovation project that we completed in Raleigh near Leesville Road. This home on Shaven Rock Road utilized nearly every outdoor service that we offer. First, our carpenters replaced all wood rot with PVC. Then, we removed and replaced all of the siding on the right and left sides of the house with HardiePlank. The rear only needed partial siding swap-outs. Matching existing siding is one of the many benefits of using JameHardie fiber cement.

The other major installation was the deck floor planks. We updated the floor, planter, bench, and steps to ground-contact #1 treated lumber. Of course, we used joist tape and reflashed the siding against the deck to prevent water damage, which is commonly overlooked on older homes.

Then our exterior painters came to seal and protect the entire home and stain the rear porch and deck. From start to finish, the project took 2.5 weeks. We had hot days, but we got it done.

Another great full exterior renovation in Raleigh is now packed up and complete! It has been a while since we were last at the Bridgeton Park neighborhood. This home on Stone Gap Court was more than nostalgic, like always, it was such a pleasure.

Our latest project included siding replacement, trim repairs, building a porch, installing new 6" gutters, and painting the full exterior. All of this was done in just 7 short days.

Many thanks to Todd and his family. So glad that we could get things done before his guests arrived. Now those evening storms don't stand a chance.

Our latest full exterior renovation on Rutgers Court in North Hills is a masterclass in what happens when technical expertise meets high-end design. Most companies just "slap on a fresh coat," but we believe a home’s beauty should be built from the inside out.
We stripped this property back to the studs, removing two full layers of old siding to reveal the home’s true "bones." From there, we rebuilt it to a standard rarely seen in residential contracting:

🔥 The Core: We replaced the old wall insulation with high-density Mineral Wool for superior fire resistance and a massive upgrade in soundproofing.

🏗️ The Structure: We installed new 7/16 OSB sheathing and a high-performance house wrap to create a rock-solid, moisture-managed envelope.

🔨 The Shield: Every inch of old trim and fascia was replaced with rot-proof PVC. All soffits and siding were upgraded to HardiePlank fiber cement, installed strictly to the manufacturer's guidelines for maximum longevity.

🎨 The Finish: We didn't settle for "contractor-grade" paint. We applied two coats of Sherwin-Williams Latitude to the siding and brick for extreme weather resistance, and used SW Duration on the trim for a finish that won't crack or peel.

💧 The System: To finish the look and protect the foundation, we installed 6” seamless black aluminum gutters paired with Leaf Solutions protection guards.

The result is a "Raleigh-proof" fortress that is as quiet as it is beautiful. In a neighborhood like North Hills, you don't just want curb appeal—you want a home that will stand strong for the next 30 years.
