A lot goes into an installation before anything ever gets powered on. Cutting, fitting conduit, making connections, mounting equipment, testing, and making sure everything is installed the way it should be.

When Ken visited Holly's office, he checked the system, made sure everything was working properly, and let her know there was nothing to sell her because the unit was in great shape.

The burn marks made that pretty clear, but a lot of electrical problems don't show up this obviously.

A burnt outlet is usually the symptom, not the root of the problem. Loose connections, worn-out outlets, overloaded circuits, and other issues can create heat over time. Finding the cause is what helps make sure the repair actually lasts.
