Fred Smith Company is making progress on the widening of Old Stage Road.

The project will add two lanes, realign the intersection at Rock Service Road, and add turn lanes at Banks Road.

Our work includes:
• 7,300 linear feet of drainage pipe and 60 drainage structures
• Approximately 20,000 tons of asphalt
• Approximately 12,500 linear feet of curb
• Approximately 17,000 cubic yards of earthwork

Resurfacing was recently completed along Six Forks Road from Strickland Road to Lynn Road, as well as along Lynn Road from Six Forks Road to Lead Mine Road.
