MILESTONE ACHIEVED: TNT 3D Construction's First Successful Print
After years of planning, research, setbacks, sacrifices, and relentless determination, today marks a historic milestone for our team.
We are proud to announce the first successful print at the TNT 3D Construction Manufacturing & Research Facility and by our first cohort!
Over the last four weeks, our team has worked through countless challenges involving equipment integration, mixer implementation, material optimization, software calibration, and operational readiness. What may look like a simple furniture/decor print represents thousands of hours of engineering, training, troubleshooting, and perseverance.
This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible support and collaboration of our partners at HiveASMBLD and Tvasta, who have stood beside us throughout this journey.
Most importantly, we want to recognize our young TNT 3D team. When challenges arose, they didn't back down—they stepped up. Their commitment, resilience, and willingness to learn have laid the foundation for what comes next. Thanks to the Community College System, , and for assisting with the rollout of our 3DCP Printer Tech/Advanced Manufacturing Tech apprenticeship program!
This first print is more than a technical accomplishment.
It represents:
✅ The launch of North Carolina's emerging 3D construction workforce.
✅ The beginning of domestic additive construction manufacturing in our region.
✅ A new pathway for affordable housing, workforce development, and advanced manufacturing.
✅ Proof that innovation, persistence, and collaboration can turn vision into reality.
Today we celebrate.
Tomorrow, we continue building.
