🥁🥁🥁 & The Winners Are ‼️‼️

Amanda Boyd & Dave Farris 🥳🥳

While EVERYONE guessed Blessing Box Correctly, we realized that the location may have been a little more difficult 😏 so everyone who commented, guessed and tagged a friend was entered in to win! 😌

The wheel was spun and now if our two lucky winners of our VERY FIRST, of many… giveaways would please shoot us a message with your size we’ll talk more with you about getting your very own Second Chance Hands swag!! 🤩

Now, the correct answer for the newest Blessing Box location is Asbury Methodist Church! Located on Stuart St. Christiansburg. We want to give a huge shout out to Mr. & Mrs.Diggs and the church family there. We appreciate all the support you all have shown us, and have enjoyed every time you’ve invited us in! Thank you all so much! Also, community!! Take advantage of every 2nd Thursday Meal Time, Mr. Diggs did his thing with some hot dogs last week, and the desserts were amazing!

Thanks to all of you who participated, we gained several new followers and we appreciate the support!

Check out the box!!! It was decorated by Margaret Olinger and her daughter! They did a wonderful job! Remember to take what you need and leave what you can! Let’s keep building our community up!

And hey! Well check in with that church in Pulaski, everyone guessed it, so it definitely needs one! 😁

Have a good night! ✨

👀 Whoa! Check it out!!! 👀

Charles & Josh really showed off with this project! 🤩 They spent the day in Christiansburg upgrading the mulch beds for Ms. Hubble among some other handyman tasks! While speaking with Ms. Hubble, they shared how SCH Property Solutions, LLC. partners with us to give back to our community and she was so touched by what we were building she felt compelled to make a gracious donation to support our mission!

We want to give a huge thank you to Ms. Hubble and to SCH Property Solutions, LLC., your support is helping us help those that need a second chance!

‼️ Announcement ‼️

We want to sincerely thank each and every person who has supported our Blessing Boxes.

There is a lot of time, work, and personal funds that go into building, stocking, placing, and maintaining each box. Our goal is to make these resources available to as many families and individuals in our community as possible.

With that being said, we want to kindly remind everyone of the purpose behind the boxes:

🫶 Take what you need.
💙 Leave what you can.
🤝 Be considerate of your neighbors.

The Blessing Boxes are not intended for one person to empty in a single visit or take large quantities of items. Unfortunately, we have seen this happening at multiple locations, and it prevents others who may truly need assistance from having access to the same resources.

We understand that times are difficult, and that is exactly why we created these boxes. But there are many families and individuals facing hardships, and we want to make sure the resources we work so hard to provide can reach as many people as possible.

Please remember that your neighbor may need that same item just as much as you do. ❤️

We ask everyone to please be respectful, thoughtful, and mindful when using the Blessing Boxes. If you are in need, please take what you need — there is absolutely no shame in that. And if you are able to give, even one or two items can help keep a box available for someone else.

We are committed to continuing this program and expanding it throughout our community. With everyone’s help and consideration, we can keep the Blessing Boxes stocked and available for those who need them.

Thank you for helping us make this a true community effort. 💙🙏
