The finished product is the easy part to see. The planning is what makes it look that way.

Well, that was a short weekend.

Wrapped one up Saturday. Opened this one up Monday.

Some rot came with it at no additional charge.

Apparently the deck had a few surprises left in it.

The chairs come out. Dinner runs a little late. Somebody stays for one more drink.

Eventually, nobody talks about the deck.

They just remember what happened on it.

Looking for One Solid Deck Carpenter.

A&R Builders is growing, and we’re looking for one carpenter to join our crew.

We’re not looking for someone who just wants a paycheck. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and wants to build decks they’re proud to put their name on.

If you’re the kind of carpenter who notices when something is out of square, cares about clean miters, shows up on time, and believes good enough isn’t good enough, you’ll fit in here.

What we’re looking for:

* Experience framing and building decks (composite experience is a plus)
* Reliable transportation
* Basic hand tools
* Dependable, hard-working, and able to work independently
* Someone who takes ownership of their work
