Total build time was about 1 hour. Lots of very fragile ceramic pieces needed to be carefully unwrapped and installed in a particular order. Has a very cool beach shell vibe šŸ’”Isla 4 lamp pendant by Maxim Lighting

The Isla chandelier showcases a coastal-inspired aesthetic with suspended tiers of textured ceramic panels that softly diffuse light, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Its undulating Matte White frame adds a modern yet organic touch, while tiny brass k***s secure the panels, highlighting their detailed veined texture.

Just wanted to apologize for being MIA for the past couple weeks. This adventure started at Chandler Regional hospital ER on June 23rd. I had a really bad fever and right side of my chest hurt when I coughed. 6 hours later - a young doctor tells me they don’t know what is wrong but there is a mass in your lung that is most likely cancer - so you should get this looked at and sent me home.
I slept the entire next day and it got worse. It hurt to breathe and my fever was nonstop.

Called my wife Jennifer in CA and told her the news and she jumped on a plane- grabbed me and the dog and headed to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach.

They immediately admitted me, did a bunch of tests and got me to a room to talk to a pulmonologist. They decided to treat me for Valley Fever (a fungus spore that travels by air in Arizona- when it’s windy, you just may inhale some) The x-rayed my chest and 3/4 of my right lung was white - which is fluid the body makes when you have an infection. This is why it hurt to breathe and why I had shortness of breath. The docs decided to drain it by poking a small hole in my back, inserting a tube and draining fluid out.
They stated pumping me full of IV antibiotics 24/7. When I woke up the next day they wanted to see inside my lung and get a sample of the inside. They put me to sleep and put a camera through my nose and tube down my throat to get the sample (technology is amazing) They tested the samples and fluid for cancer and thank God it was negative. The problem was they couldn’t get anything to show up in the labs.

When first round of labs came back they said I was negative for valley fever and they stopped that treatment. Next few days was more scary theories and ideas and it was the 4th of July. A new doctor who was working holiday shift came by to look at my file and luckily Jennifer was there. She asked - does it make sense to re-test him for Valley Fever since it’s been a week? That doctor, bless her heart put in the order. 3 days later they come back and say great news you have Valley Fever! Next procedure is not recommended 😵 (Continued in comments)

The most critical part of installing recessed led channel is a perfectly straight wall. This took a few attempts before we got it right. What ended up being the final solution was cutting a notch across all the studs and put plywood in the notch.

Be careful who you hire to install electrical in your home. This could’ve been catastrophic…

While remodeling a kitchen, we found (2) 50A 240v circuits where someone tapped into with #12 wire for extra outlets 😵 it’s amazing this place didn’t burn to the ground. āš”ļø
