THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL FINISHED BASEMENT.

Imagine walking downstairs…and teeing off without ever leaving home. 👀

For this Collegeville, PA renovation, the goal wasn’t simply to finish a basement. The homeowners wanted to create a true entertainment space built around a custom golf simulator — while still having a comfortable place where family and friends could gather, relax and actually enjoy spending time.

And that meant designing around a lot more than the golf swing.

Ceiling clearances.
Sound control.
Existing mechanical and structural elements.
Durable finishes.
Separate recreation and lounge areas.

Every piece had to work together.

The result? A basement that proves some of the most exciting square footage in your home may be hiding right underneath your feet. 🏠⛳

If you live in Collegeville, Montgomery County, Bucks County or the surrounding area and have an unfinished or underused lower level, you may be surprised by what it could become.

Golf simulator? Home theater? Game room? Entertainment space? Maybe a little bit of everything?

We design around the way YOU want to live in your home.

We opened one wall in this Chestnut Hill kitchen… and found THIS 😳

This historic stone home had a dated galley kitchen with a checkerboard floor. We took it back to the studs and stone, and inside one wall, we found an original drain pipe nearly choked shut with scale. Nothing looked wrong from the outside.

We re-piped the second-floor drains first, then built the kitchen the house deserved:

🌿 Custom sage green cabinetry with a tall pantry wall

🪨 Honed soapstone counters and a fireclay farmhouse sink

🧱 Terracotta hex tile floors

☀️ A built-in breakfast nook bench under the bay window and skylight

🚽 A powder room refreshed with botanical wallpaper

Watch it go from demo day to done 👇 Which space would you steal: the nook or the powder room?

A dated primary suite has been completely reimagined — and the transformation is incredible.

This Richboro design-build project went all the way back to the studs, allowing us to rethink the entire space from the layout up. The finished suite now features a bright marble bathroom, a custom glass shower with built-in bench, a rich wood vanity with natural stone, and beautifully integrated bedroom built-ins with a window seat.

What makes this project special is how every detail works together. The bathroom feels open and timeless, while the custom storage makes the bedroom feel more intentional, polished, and complete.

This is more than a bathroom remodel. It is a full primary-suite transformation designed around how the space should actually live.

A historic Bucks County farmhouse is about to get a major new chapter.

This in-progress Pipersville design-build project is transforming the way the home lives and functions with a completely new kitchen addition — while carefully preserving the character that made the original fieldstone farmhouse so special.

The vision includes custom cabinetry, a striking stone accent wall, a dedicated dining area, beautiful architectural detailing, and a new exterior designed to feel like it has always belonged there.
This is where thoughtful design matters: not simply adding more space, but making the new work feel connected to the history of the home.

Take a look at the existing farmhouse, the plans, and the renderings showing where this transformation is headed.

A historic stone home. A dated galley kitchen. And a renovation that uncovered much more than we expected. 👀

This Philadelphia kitchen remodel was taken all the way back to the studs and original stone before being rebuilt with custom sage green cabinetry, honed soapstone countertops, a farmhouse sink, walnut floating shelves, terracotta tile, and a new built-in breakfast nook.

But some of the most important work will never be visible in the finished photos.

Once the walls were opened, we discovered a badly corroded original pipe hidden inside the wall. Instead of covering it back up, we re-piped the affected drains before continuing with the renovation.

That’s the reality of remodeling an older home: beautiful finishes matter, but what’s happening behind the walls matters just as much.

We’re sharing the full story—including the before photos, demolition, hidden conditions, design details, and the transformation taking shape.

What does it really take to blend a major new addition into an older Bucks County home without losing the character that made the house special in the first place?

Our latest Perkasie whole-home renovation is at one of our favorite stages — the walls are still open, the framing is exposed, and you can actually see the craftsmanship that will eventually disappear behind the finished spaces.

From leveling existing floors and creating new structural openings to integrating the addition, Marvin windows, new stair framing and custom built-ins, every detail has to connect the new construction with what was already there.

When this project is complete, the goal is for the old and new portions of the home to feel like they were always meant to belong together.

Take a look behind the walls and see how this transformation is coming together.

There’s a point in every major renovation where the house stops looking old, stops looking new, and starts becoming something in between.

That’s exactly where we are with the Henschel Renovation in Perkasie.

This whole-home renovation and addition is bringing new structure, Marvin windows, updated floor levels, new stair framing, built-ins, and major interior changes together with the home’s original stone, brick, and heavy timber details.

For us, this is what good design-build craftsmanship is about: understanding what is worth preserving, solving the structural challenges correctly, and making the new work feel like it truly belongs.

We’re sharing a closer look at the construction process and the craftsmanship happening behind the finished walls.
