The Bass Pro Shops "Pyramid" in Tennessee can be found rising 321 feet up into the sky along the Mississippi River! In Memphis, this massive glass pyramid stands out as one of the state’s most unusual places to visit. It first opened in 1991 as a sports arena and concert venue, then was fully transformed in 2015 into a huge outdoor store and attraction. Inside, you’ll walk through a towering indoor cypress swamp with real fish, turtles, and ducks, plus flowing waterfalls and wood walkways. A glowing glass elevator climbs 28 stories to the top, where “The Lookout” gives you wide views over downtown and the river. You can go bowling at Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill, eat at Wahlburgers, or even spend the night inside at Big Cypress Lodge. It’s a mix of store, hotel, and fun stop all in one place.
