ESOP Month is here!

We’re kicking off a month of celebrating employee ownership at Absher. Since becoming employee owned in 2022, we’ve had plenty to celebrate — but the best part of ownership is the people.

Each week this month, we’ll be bringing our employee-owners together for opportunities to connect, celebrate and learn more about what it means to have a stake in the company we’re building together.

Check out the attached flyer for a look at everything we have planned for ESOP Month!

We had a great time at the Sound Transit Pinehurst Station grand opening yesterday!

It was so cool to see so many community members excited to celebrate the opening of this new station. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi and celebrate with us!

And a HUGE congratulations to our project team on this milestone. We’re proud to have been part of bringing Pinehurst Station to the community!

What a week! Last week was a great one at Absher as we celebrated Sustainability Week! It was a huge hit, bringing together our team, industry partners, and community members for a week full of learning, conversation, and connection.

From updates on what’s new in the sustainability industry and hearing stories of sustainability in action, to touring AEP Span and wrapping up the week with a clothing swap and happy hour, there was truly something for everyone.

A special thank you to our Sustainability Director, Stephanie Gowing, for putting together such a great lineup of events and creating opportunities for our team and community to learn, connect, and keep moving sustainability forward.

Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make the week such a success!

A huge THANK YOU to all our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers for making the 2026 Absher Kids’ Cup Charity Golf Tournament another success. Earlier this month, Absher presented a check for $60,000 to the Madigan Foundation to help them continue their important work for military families and their children.

A big thank you to our friends at PCS Structural Solutions for hosting Absher Sr. Project Manager Mako and his guest, Professor Ishinabe from Japan!

Professor Ishinabe’s work focuses on the study of structural steel buildings, and PCS was kind enough to give him a behind-the-scenes look at one of their structural steel designs.

We appreciate PCS helping create opportunities to share knowledge, make connections, and learn from one another across the industry—and across the globe!

From plans to platform, Pinehurst Station is almost ready to welcome its first riders!

The new Sound Transit (L230) station opens September 30, marking an exciting milestone — and we’re proud to have been part of the team that brought it to life.

Sound Transit recently shared a look back at the people, progress, and milestones behind the making of Pinehurst Station. It’s pretty incredible to see how far the project has come since construction began.

We’re looking forward to celebrating the opening and seeing this new station connect the community for years to come. Read the full story from Sound Transit below.
