We’re excited to share that our DESC Stevens Place project has been recognized as a 2026 Outstanding Structures Project by the ASCE Seattle Section!

Stevens Place is a permanent supportive housing development providing approximately 85 homes for individuals transitioning out of chronic homelessness, with integrated on-site case management, behavioral health services, and community support spaces.
We’re proud to be part of a project that creates not just housing, but a foundation for stability, connection, and a brighter future.

We’re proud to support students in our communities through our Stuff the Bus donation drive at Absher!

Thanks to the generosity of our employees, our Puyallup office collected school supplies for Communities In Schools of Tacoma, while our Eastern Washington office donated supplies to Washington Elementary in Wenatchee. Together, we’re helping local students start the school year with the tools they need to learn and succeed.

Yesterday, Absher proudly commemorated our partnership with the U.S. Army Partnership for Your Success Program(PaYS) with a special signing ceremony.

The PaYS Program connects Soldiers with a network of employers who provide them with an opportunity for an interview and potential employment after their military service. We’re honored to be part of this important initiative that helps Soldiers prepare for their future while strengthening connections between America’s Army and business community.

We’re excited to support transitioning Soldiers and look forward to the opportunities this partnership will create!

A few of our Absher team members hit the course for the 26th Annual YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties Golf Tournament, supporting the YMCA’s work to provide safe spaces, caring mentors, and positive opportunities for teens in our community.

We’re proud to support a great cause and grateful to be part of a day that brought people together for a little golf and a lot of good. Thanks to the YMCA for having us!

Last week, we teed off for a great cause at the Absher 2026 Kids’ Cup Golf Tournament—and we’re excited to share that, together, we raised $60,000 for the The Madigan Foundation!

The Madigan Foundation enhances the healthcare and well-being of the Madigan Army Medical Center community by supporting patients, staff, and military children and families.

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, donors, golfers, volunteers, and organizers who helped make this year’s tournament such a success. And a special shoutout to Cathy Melson for organizing such an incredible and impactful day!

We’re grateful for everyone who showed up, chipped in, and helped make a difference. We can’t wait to see you all back on the course next year!
