Tribute to Shadow and Jackie ~ King and Queen of Big Bear ❤

*Disclaimer*... many flies met their demise in the making of this video!

This is a pyrography tribute to Shadow and Jackie from Big Bear Lake in Sothern California.
Pyrography ~ the name comes from the Greek pyr (fire) and graphos (writing), literally "writing with fire." I love creating personalized meaningful art. I also make woodburn signs.

Anyone interested in a custom piece, feel free to reach out in the comments or you can find me on Facebook and Instagram.

Isaiah 40:31 ~ "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint"
Deuteronomy 32:11 ~ "As an eagle stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, He spread His wings to catch them and carried them on His pinions."

This is a memorial piece for some dear friends whose brother passed away unexpectedly and far too young.
He was a guitarist and both brothers loved the band Tool. My husband is also a huge fan, so I took some inspiration from the song Parabola.
Do you see the little spirit man? He was naturally in the maple wood and I just added arms.
He's just perfect.
Creating something so personal is an honor. Thank you for asking me to do this Heather Barker ❤
May Garrette Lee Barker rest in peace.

I'm a wood art creator. I carve and burnish designs into slabs, cutting boards, tables, dressers... anything made of wood.
I have a Foredom wood carver and a Colwood Olympiad Pyrography Tool. Pyrography...The term means "writing with fire", from the Greek pur (fire) and graphos (writing).
If you have a name or motif, I can replicate it.
I work freehand. These signs have a natural esthetic that doesn't come from laser printed work.
