My father, Robert, was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer before our finished solar mail system was manufactured. Unfortunately, during my father’s last few months of life, an ambulance was called to his home during a life-threatening event. The ambulance had trouble locating my father’s ho
use, which delayed their arrival and my father’s medical treatment. Even with modern technology and GPS navigation systems, it can still be very tricky to find an exact address at night. Our illuminated panels on our mailbox posts and/or our address panels on houses or garages can only assist emergency personnel in finding your home and loved ones faster, especially when every second may count! My father did not ever get to see his idea completely finished, but I know that he is smiling when he looks down on us and sees our mailboxes illuminated at night. I now have a business partner, John, in order to expand our distribution and be able to provide our innovative solar-powered illuminated mailboxes to as many people as possible.
