Don B Construction is hiring a dependable Semi-Skilled Carpenter’s Helper for construction projects throughout Southwest Florida.
We’re looking for someone with basic carpentry and general construction experience who can work alongside our carpenters and superintendents and continue developing their skills.
Typical Duties:
Assist with framing, blocking, trim, doors, and general carpentry
Measure, cut, and handle lumber and building materials
Use basic hand and power tools
Assist with layout and installation
Perform minor repairs and punch-list work
Material handling and jobsite cleanup
Assist other trades and field crews as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous carpentry or construction experience
Comfortable using saws, drills, impact drivers, levels, and other common tools
Able to read a tape measure accurately
Reliable transportation
Dependable and able to report to work on time
Able to work outdoors and perform physical construction work
Willingness to learn and advance into a more skilled carpentry position
Competitive pay based on experience and skill level. Full-time position with opportunity for advancement.
