A familiar Pulaski landmark has a new chapter. Our Coca-Cola exterior renovation accepted a national Excellence in Construction Eagle Award and Design-Build Award from Associated Builders and Contractors at the beginning of the year. After a fire in 2023, our team restored the facility while preserving its historic character. Handcrafted brick, new windows, an improved roof, and original entrance details all helped bring this local landmark back. Projects like this mean a lot to us. Familiar buildings hold memories for the people who pass them every day, and taking care of those details is part of taking care of our hometown. Thank you to the owner and everyone who contributed to the restoration. We are proud to share the finished work and recognize the people behind it. The best project relationships do not end at the ribbon cutting. Hazel Green Dental is one example of a partnership that has grown along with the client.

Our team built the practice’s first facility in 2014. More than a decade later, the community needed more dental care, and the practice needed room to grow. We were grateful to work together again on a new 6,642-square-foot office less than a mile from the original.

The new space has capacity for more than twice the patients. It includes 17 dental stations, two surgical rooms, and support spaces a busy practice needs. The project began with conversations about what had changed since the first building.

When an owner comes back to us, we bring what we learned and listen to their goals for the next chapter. We are thankful for the trust behind this one.

Today was a fun and exciting day at the Pulaski Club!

Our kids had a very special visit from our friends at Brindley Construction, LLC . We heard from PAC Chair Alicia Gordon, VP Jeff Brindley, CEO Ginny Wright, and our own Pulaski Club Director, Kiane Taylor, about what these renovations will mean for the future of our Club.

Our kids also enjoyed a sweet treat from Brindley Construction, and got a first glimpse at what the Pulaski Club could look like.

There is still so much work to do to make this a reality, but today was a great reminder that our Pulaski kids have people in their corner and a community that truly believes in their future. Thank you Brindley Constuction, LLC for showing up for our Pulaski Kids!

Incredible things are happening for our Club in Pulaski! đź’™

Yesterday, our Pulaski Advisory Committee had the chance to walk through the renovations and see just how much progress has been made. The foundation is in, walls are going up, and the new spaces are starting to take shape. Once complete, our Club will have six additional program spaces, a new Teen Room, a new lobby, new kitchen and bathrooms, and nearly triple the indoor space for our kids and teens—not including the proposed Dream Court and natural playground!

We’re grateful for our Pulaski Advisory Committee, Brindley Construction, LLC and everyone who has helped move this project forward.

If you haven’t been by the Club in a while, you may be surprised by how much has changed. We are still working hard to meet our capital campaign goal, and community support will be key to making the full vision a reality.

More room to read, learn, and connect in Giles County. The Giles County Public Library expansion is designed to make a familiar community resource even more useful.

The planned 4,000-square-foot, two-story addition will create new learning space for children and young adults and access to telehealth resources. Masonry, painted brick veneer, structural steel, and metal decking are part of the design, but the goal is much bigger than the materials.

We were honored to stand with library supporters and community leaders at the groundbreaking earlier this year. Their excitement was a reminder that the space will mean something different to every visitor: a quiet place to study, help with a question, or a service that is easier to reach.

That is what community construction is about. The building should work for the people who walk through its doors for years to come.

A good building project starts before the first shovel hits the ground. If you are planning a facility or renovation, preconstruction is where the important questions come into focus.

What does the space need to do? What is the working budget? Can operations continue during construction? When does the building need to open? These answers shape the scope, schedule, and design.

Our team reviews costs, site conditions, phasing, and decisions that may affect the finished space. We also ask about access, future growth, and how people will use the building every day. A medical practice, school, industrial facility, and community organization will each have different priorities.

There is no universal checklist. Listening first helps us develop a plan around your needs, with room to discuss options before construction begins.
