Another mountain property cleaned up.

Knocked out a full day of fuels reduction and property cleanup on this one. We chipped a substantial amount of previously cut scrub oak and woody debris, cleared additional dead and down material, did some saw work where needed, and cleaned up the access road throughout the property.

With wildfire activity currently impacting the surrounding area, reducing dead vegetation and heavy fuel accumulation can make a big difference around your property. This wasn’t about making the woods look like a parking lot — it was about removing unnecessary fuel, improving access, and leaving the property cleaner and more manageable.

Another haul-off knocked out.

Customer needed a mix of junk, debris, and a good amount of dirt removed from the property. Loaded everything up, cleaned up the area, and hauled it out.

Another on-call emergency completed by Kerf Cutters Tree Service.

Today’s call came after high winds caused a large, hazardous limb to fail, crashing onto a parked vehicle and completely destroying the windshield.

Once the limb was safely removed and sectioned, the cause became clear. The tree had extensive internal decay, leaving much of the trunk hollow and structurally compromised. While the tree still appeared to be standing, it had very little sound wood remaining to support the weight of the limb. The wind was simply the final trigger.

Fortunately, no one was inside the vehicle when the failure occurred.

This is a perfect example of why routine tree inspections and preventative maintenance are so important. Dead wood, internal decay, weak branch unions, and structural defects often go unnoticed until a storm exposes them—and by then, property damage or injuries can happen in seconds.

Scope of Work:

* Responded to an emergency, on-call tree failure.
* Assessed the remaining tree for additional hazards.
* Safely removed the fallen limb from the vehicle and roadway.
* Sectioned and loaded all debris.
* Hauled away all wood and cleaned the work area.
* Identified significant internal decay contributing to the failure.

Another commercial haul-off completed for a client.

This project included the removal and disposal of accumulated bagged trash, cardboard, and miscellaneous debris from an overflowing commercial dumpster enclosure. Once all debris was loaded and hauled away, the enclosure was left clean, accessible, and ready for normal use.
