A grease trap is your kitchen's first line of defense against costly plumbing failures. 🔍

The trap works by slowing down the flow of wastewater, allowing it to cool. This temperature change causes fats, oils, and grease to separate and float to the surface, while heavier food solids settle at the bottom. The baffle system ensures that only the clarified water in the middle is discharged into the sanitary sewer line.

Without regular maintenance, these layers grow until the separation process fails, leading to sewer backups, foul odors, and possibly even city fines.

On The Move provides professional pumping and cleaning to keep your interceptor performing exactly as designed.
