Located in the Knox-Henderson district, The Savannah sets a new standard for luxury residential living. Rising 21 stories and spanning approximately 360,000 GSF, the development features 110 market-rate residences thoughtfully designed around comfort, style, and ease.

Welcome Kathleen to the ZDS team!

Before joining ZDS, Kathleen developed a strong foundation in interior architecture and project management, gaining experience guiding projects from early design concepts through documentation and construction to execute complex, multi-phase projects that push design boundaries and create exceptional experiences for clients and end-users. As Project Manager of Interiors at the ZDS DC office, Kathleen brings her expertise in BIM coordination, specification writing, and FF&E procurement to projects.

10 years of Eric Schall!
We are celebrating Eric’s 10-year anniversary at ZDS! As Associate Principal, Eric has spent the last decade managing projects within the ID department and has been a key part of our growth and success.
His leadership of project teams, clients, and exceptional work has helped elevate our office beyond what we could have imagined. We are incredibly grateful to have someone like Eric on our team — someone you can always count on and undoubtedly the person you want by your side.

Our latest workplace project for Mobile Beacon was rooted in a simple but powerful idea: design through the lens of who they are. As a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access and helping others stay connected, it was essential that their space reflect those same values.
ZDS shaped a workplace that brings their mission to life—centered on connection, access, and community. The result is a modern, warm, and subtly playful environment designed to support collaboration, spark energy, and inspire the people who use it every day.
We’re excited to see this space come alive and truly work for the team it was built for.
