Installing last wk --> this 24,000 SCFM regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) is the heart of a volatile organic compound (VOC) capture/control system that we helped engineer, procure, construct. VOC’s are a precursor to ground-level ozone; this system will prevent the emissions-to-atmosphere of tons of VOC’s per year.

Last week we helped one of the biggest cities in Massachusetts prepare to be part of Pfizer’s Operation Warp Speed wherein the COVID vaccine is distributed to end-users. We’re consulting on the tuning/optimization of their health center’s air handling units (AHU) as regards Mass Dept. of Public Health’s guidance for COVID-19 sites. The AHU’s supply and exhaust air to exam rooms. The project objective is to create an environment where people can be safely tested and vaccinated indoors, vs. outside or from their vehicles, which will become more of a challenge as a New England winter sets in.
