A behind-the-scenes look at the Taunton Avenue Collaborative in East Providence 🏗️
AIA Rhode Island had the opportunity to tour this 160-unit mixed-income affordable housing development currently under construction, learning more about the planning, design, and construction of a project centered on long-term community revitalization and resident well-being.
Led by Joe Haskett, Principal at Union Studio, the tour offered insight into the collaboration between architects, nonprofit organizations, service providers, and the construction team from site planning and design strategies to the challenges and opportunities of delivering large-scale, mission-driven housing.
