Flashback to June 2024 and the grand opening ✨of South County Health’s New Balise Entrance.

NEMD designed📐 the new Balise Entrance (formerly the West Entrance) choosing materials and architectural features to effectively merge two main entrances of the hospital, inviting patients, visitors, and staff into the heart of the building. 🏥The overarching goal was to create a seamless connection between the structures and achieve a cohesive architectural design.

🅿️The new entrance enhances accessibility for patients and visitors, with dedicated parking spaces conveniently located near the entrance.

NEMD's Sean Greene recently participated alongside colleagues from Pariseault Builders, Inc and Crossroads Rhode Island in the Build-A-Bed Event🔨 to support A Bed for Every Child.

Teams collaborated to construct ten beds for families engaged in Crossroads' programs. For children transitioning into new homes, having a bed signifies comfort, stability, and a new beginning. A Bed for Every Child🛌 is dedicated to providing every child in need with a bed of their own.

👏A collaborative effort from many dedicated individuals led to an unforgettable and meaningful day.

🎉Congratulations to Mehdi and Rosemary Khosrovani for being honored with the Bradley Hospital Humanitarian Award, recognizing their outstanding commitment to the mission of Bradley Hospital.

Mehdi has served on Bradley’s Board of Governors since 2016 and joined the Foundation Board in 2017; Rosemary became a member of the Board of Governors in 2021. Their dedication to children and families is reflected through their active involvement with organizations such as Bradley Hospital, Boys and Girls Club Wanskuck, and Greenlock Therapeutic Riding Center.

Although Rosemary couldn’t attend the event in person, a Rosemary impersonator 😁graciously stood in on her behalf.

🎄Shoutout to Taylor Lawrence for leading the charge designing two beautiful NEMD trees with Armita Eghbali, Nicole Mooney, and Brenton Eddy. These special trees will be delivered to children in their hospital rooms to spread smiles and warmth to families during this holiday season. ✨
