Coming soon to Sky Dancer Casino & Resort in North Dakota — Fire’s Edge Steakhouse. 🔥

Currently in the pre-construction phase, Fire’s Edge brings the drama of an open flame together with a warm, immersive steakhouse experience. The design is anchored by a central sculptural bar and branching architectural forms that stretch overhead, surrounded by layers of wood, leather, glowing amber glass and fire features throughout the space.

From the sweeping wood ceiling to the illuminated screens and rich, earthy palette, every element was designed to create a sense of warmth, movement and energy — a contemporary steakhouse that feels connected to its surroundings while delivering plenty of visual impact.

We’re excited to see this one move from rendering to reality.

Almost there at the Crowne Plaza Warwick.

We’ve been working on a renovation of the hotel’s banquet and event spaces, including the ballrooms, prefunction areas, corridors and restrooms—and we’re excited to see the design nearing completion.

It’s always especially rewarding to work on a project here in our home state of Rhode Island, and we’re happy to be collaborating with the Carpionato Group to give these longtime event spaces a fresh new look.

Here’s a look at our renderings of the new design—we can’t wait to share photos of the completed spaces soon.

Currently under construction, Casa Rialto was designed as an extension of the Villa Venezia event experience. Inspired by the romance and elegance of historic Venetian interiors, our concept blends old-world character with the comforts of a contemporary boutique hotel. Renderings shown reflect our original design vision; final ex*****on may vary as the project progresses.

Transformation Tuesday: 🛠️ ✨Alicante Restaurant was reimagined with a warm, modern Mediterranean point of view—layering natural woods, stone, woven textures, patterned textiles, and sculptural lighting to create a space that feels relaxed, inviting, and elevated.

With the client looking to avoid major structural changes and complete the renovation around the restaurant’s existing schedule, we focused on finishes, furnishings, lighting, and art that could make a meaningful impact without an extensive overhaul. The result is a fresh new identity that completely transforms the experience while working within the bones of the existing space.

Never Happened Thursday: Blue Duck Brewing Company was a fun project to design. It was a blank space, industrial building that we wanted to make feel established and larger than life. Unfortunately, it was never built like this, and only exists like this in our minds and renderings. I don’t know about you, but I would go grab a craft b**r there.

When renderings become reality. ✨ The newly updated Hotel Indigo Riverhead, NY.

We originally designed this property in 2008, transforming the former Best Western into a Hotel Indigo, which opened in 2010. Last year, we had the opportunity to return to the project and reimagine the guestrooms for a new chapter.

There’s something especially rewarding about working with longtime clients—and even more so when we get the chance to revisit our own work, building on the original design while giving it new life.

Renovations to the public spaces are currently underway. More to share soon!

We’re excited to be designing Acqua Pazza, the newest restaurant from Joe and Esther DeQuattro!

It’s always a pleasure to work on a project close to home in Rhode Island, and we’re especially excited about this one—an Italian seafood restaurant inspired by the coastal flavors of Italy. We can’t wait to help bring their vision for Acqua Pazza to life in Wakefield.

Congratulations to Joe and Esther on their newest venture! We’re looking forward to sharing more as the design comes together.

Some projects never end up getting built with our design, but it doesn’t mean we love them any less. This was a restaurant we did that was inside a glass blowing studio. So, we embraced color and glass! It was a lot of fun to try to figure out how to make a warehouse feel inspired, welcoming and exciting.
