A bird’s-eye view of the progress on site.

This home was monopoly framed, with the rafters cut flush to the exterior walls and no overhangs. This approach simplifies air sealing and helps create a continuous air and water barrier from the roof ridge all the way down to the foundation. Adhero 3000, a self adhering membrane from @475.supply was installed to both roof and walls. The overhangs were added afterward.

Big progress behind the scenes.

Years of water damage had taken a toll. We have reinforced the foundation, installed new structural beams, and rebuilt major portions of the original framing — carefully tying old and new together.

Siding is complete at the West Side Firehouse addition!
Hardie lap siding has been installed over a ventilated rainscreen, with aluminum fin corner details for a modern, durable finish.

This thoughtfully designed addition creates a new entrance that will double as an art gallery for the owner's collection while also providing elevator access to the second-floor living areas.
