PRICE INCREASE: FYI if you have been waiting to get restoration work done on your home, I just received notice from our supply house that materials are going up again next month. That’s twice this year with avg. 12-22% increase over LAST years increase of 8-15%.

The point: Don’t wait.

Let’s get this problem resolved quickly.

Covered patios are great on a house...just make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing when they put one on....I was called out for a roof leak. Roofing looked good, but they left a small space for water to run off 3 sides of this low slope house. No proper flashing or gutter system led to some big time rot down a side wall into the interior space...they thought it was a roof leak...not so fast.

What do these two pictures have in common?!

The cap is just too small!!

Today: called out for a potential roof leak, it was a gutter/flashing issue upon inspection, but while we were on the roof- noticed this chimney cap just placed on top of the chimney. Now like a good baseball cap SHOULD fit, it should be snug - down over your head or the Chimney in this case - NOT sitting up high and exposing the under elements.

We don’t just focus on what you asked for— we look at the entire area when we are called for an inspection. You trusted us to provide an inspection - we want to make sure you are aware of EVERYTHING we can see that’s a potential issue. I want that same courtesy from any profession.

This holiday season just feels different. More subdued. Kids are older— no more “toy” shopping….. they all have their agendas when they visit us back at home, or go out with friends…. I see now why my parents were a little l sad around the holidays now…. They miss the younger years with the Christmas lore.
Value the time with family… it moves fast. It’s worth the sacrifice to make time intentional with each other.

Merry Christmas and thank you all for being a part of my life.
