Mr. Miller came to us looking for a shed that would work for his plants, but we wanted him to get something perfect. We asked him to trust us, and together we designed something that was even better than what he expected.

This 12x24 Rancher is the result. It features 13 windows (7 in the back and 6 in the front) plus a 9-lite house door that fills the interior with natural light. A 24' workbench runs along the back wall, creating a dedicated planting workspace. The exterior was finished in a modern combination of Iron Ore siding, White trim, and a Galvalume metal roof.

With 20 standard paint colors to choose from, most of our customers find a color they love.🎨 But if you want an exact match to your home or something completely your own, we can do that too.

Simply drop off your paint at your local Better Built Sheds dealer, and we will handle the rest. No additional charge. Any extra paint comes back to you, and the only tradeoff is about one additional week on the build time.

Our standard floor features 5/8" LP ProStruct tongue-and-groove flooring on 2x6 pressure-treated joists placed 16" on center. With a live load rating of 150 psf, this combination is more than enough for most storage needs.

But if you need something even stronger, we offer two upgrades: 3/4" flooring and 12" on center joists. Combined, these push the load rating to 430 psf. Each upgrade is available for just $0.75 per square foot.
