If your deck is peeling like this after 6 months to a year after it’s stained it means there’s an issue in the wood underneath. It needs to be stripped down to bare wood and treated properly before it is restained. If any painter tells you otherwise they are stealing your money. Recently did a barter job for a good friend. Their aluminum siding was in much need of some love. Primed all the bare metal with Sherwin Williams extreme bond primer and 2 finish coats of Sherwin Williams Duration. 2 coats Sherwin Williams Duration on the shutters as well. Recently did a job for the most picky client I’ve ever had in my life. The ole ball and chain.😂 She was extremely happy with the end result. My helper and I spent 3 days redoing our bathroom and it came out way too nice not to share with everyone.
