🐥☀️ just a friendly change with operations with egg deliveries for Integrity Acres as we approach spring aka garden season 🚚 I am only doing 1️⃣ delivery day for sales and that is now only FRIDAYS. Also as all my customers know, our family sustainability does come first and our excess is what we sell. I have had some customers over the last few weeks come off a bit “aggressive” when I have shared that I couldn’t fill an order when they requested. Also, I do operate on a first come, first serve basis unless we have made other arrangements. Thank you for understanding and we are trying our best to serve our community during this egg shortage time.

Fun facts about Farm Fresh Eggs & Chickens

Eggs are laid with a protective layer called “bloom” that seals the pores on the egg to keep bacteria from entering.

Unwashed eggs can stay on the counter for several weeks.

Washed eggs must be refrigerated and last up to two months.

Store your eggs upside down to help keep them fresh (pointy side down).

You can water glass eggs to keep them shelf stable for up to 2 years.

Chickens are omnivores. They love bugs, frogs, snakes, mice and other small creatures along with all kinds of vegetation.

Chickens shouldn’t have potato skins.

Farm eggs have 1/3 less cholesterol,1/4 less saturated fat, 2/3 more vitamin A, Two times more omega-3 fatty acids and three times more vitamin E than store bought eggs.

You can tell if the egg is fertilized by there being a white “bullseye” on the yolk.

Yolks range from light yellow to dark orange.

One egg can have as many as 17,000 pores on the shell.

The breed of the chicken will determine the color of the egg.

The yolks contain vitamin D.

Chickens run faster than humans.

Hello from Integrity Acres! As many know we operate as a natural farm. Being we don’t use chemicals or pesticides on our grounds where our free range chickens forage and we don’t use any hormones or antibiotics. Our organic practices brings the most nutrient dense farm raised eggs to your dinner table. We had to make changes as our flock took some down time during the winter (normal practice as we don’t slave them away under harsh lighting routines) we are slowly picking back up in production.

Our prices increased slightly to accommodate the quality and convenience of our farm fresh eggs with most the times, our large-jumbo eggs are double yolks and weighing close to 4 oz each.
